Good Morning! Just sitting here, drinking my morning cup of coffee, thinking about how great this weekend was. I hope that you also had a nice and relaxing weekend and are ready to kick off this week in full gear. It’s Monday, a new week, and with it comes new possibilities! 🙂

So lately, with all the negativity in the press and on social media, I’ve been trying to stay conscience about being positive. It’s not the easiest thing to do these days, and it does take some serious effort.. I posted a status on Facebook last week about a few things that we can all do to try to be the change that we want to see in the world. No matter where you’re from, what political party you are, or your opinion on certain topics — I believe that we should try to just spread love. You can’t fight fire with fire, it’s only going to make it worse.. Raising my son in this day and age, I sometimes worry. I fear of the future. But I realize there are things that you absolutely cannot change, so staying positive and setting a good example for him is my only option. Just food for thought..

On Saturday we went to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. It’s so close to where we live, and now that it’s finally cooled off, it’s going to be where we are going to begin spending a lot of our Saturday mornings! It’s absolutely beautiful, free admission, and very peaceful. It’s such a rare gem. We found this cute little bench and decided to take a few pictures. This week Noah is going to be 6 months old! He’s the light of my world.. To all my mommas out there reading this: where does the time go? They grow so quickly! Trying to cherish every moment, and take as many videos and pictures as possible!

I hope that you have a wonderful week!
